I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday, but it marked the anniversary of the passing of one of the kindest guys I ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Gregg Fulkerson had one of the most expressive and emotional voices out there and he was able to write some truly amazing songs. Blue Tears never made it big but they had almost nary a song that I did not like and were one of the few “smaller” bands that could stand next to the giants of the genre and more than hold their own.
I had the pleasure of talking with Gregg numerous times before his untimely passing in 2009 and he was never anything less than a gentleman, always willing to take a moment out of his day to speak with an adoring fan.
If you do not know who Gregg or Blue Tears is then you are missing out on some amazing music and an incredible vocalist that could transport you and make you feel every note he sang.
He is sorely missed every day but his music, and his voice, lives on!
